The Paul Dunton Orchestra

Singer-songwriter, Paul Dunton leads his own unique cross-over orchestra providing an atmospheric fusion of alternative/folk pop with a classical twist. The Orchestra performs Paul’s own compositions and a varied selection of uniquely arranged standards from a wide range of artists. The Orchestra is comprised of multiple violins and cellos, flute, bass, guitar and percussion, Paul himself on keys/vocals and his lead vocalists, Charlotte Andrew and Poppy Raine. In 2015, Paul and the orchestra were featured on BBC Radio 2 by Joan Armatrading with interviews and airplay of one of Paul’s songs, ‘Don’t Forget’. This led to Paul supporting Joan Armatrading on five occasions during her recent UK tours. The brand new single ‘Give Me A Reason’ is out now on ITunes, Spotify and all renowned digital stores. The summer of 2018 has been a busy period for Paul & The Orchestra with mainstage slots at The Black Deer Festival and Pub In The Park where they opened for an array of internationally renowned acts including Keifer Sutherland, Ward Thomas, Ashley Campbell, Iron & Wine, Gabrielle Aplin, Mel C and Razorlight. The new 14 track album ‘Clearly Invisible’ is available at all gigs.
