TRIED A WHAMBAM YET?

At WhamBam we make organic pakoras and bhajias, made fresh onsite, served with dips in biodegradable trays and we have been doing that for 18 years.

The secret to our success? We buy the best organic ingredients from local independents. This means our vegetables, honored to sacrifice themselves for a WhamBam, are grown/supplied by Kate and Jonathon at Cherry Gardens Organic Farm (Groombridge) and have utterly DELICIOUS nourishment oooooozing out of them! We dip those sacred seasonal veg into our batter which we make lovingly from organic Shropshire lentils, ground by our goodselves (with the help of elves) and a few freshly ground organic spices; you get the flavour of the veg, the grain AND the magic. We serve them freshly cooked, on biodegradable trays with some deliciously devourable dips. Buy some … and go to heaven! Everyone can eat them and they put a smile on your tummy as well as the environment! Allergen-free, cooked fresh, very low food waste, recycling policies strictly adhered to – how good can it get? You may have to wait while we cook them but it’s well worth it.

Souper Juice are excited to be at Local & Live 2017; refuel with their fresh fruit smoothies, pressed juices, chickpea & quinoa burrito and Mexican bean nachos.

Souper Juice is a café and juice bar located in Monson Road, Tunbridge Wells. Soups and juices are our thing but we also offer smoothies, coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, salads, toasties, burritos and cakes.

We are excited to bring a taste of Souper Juice to Local & Live 2017. We have created a special Local & Live smoothie “Strawberry Fields” a blend of strawberries, mango and mint. To complement that we will also be selling our popular “Bananarama” smoothie, a blend of bananas, vanilla, chocolate and almond milk. Our freshly pressed juices and healthy shots will also be available for festival goers who need a boost of vitamins! Hopefully it will be too hot for soup so we will be offering a chickpea and quinoa burrito and Mexican bean tacos, both served with chilli sauce, guacamole, salsa, cheese and chilli mint yoghurt; vegan options will be available.

Souper Juice has a sister company “Bespoke Catering TW”, an outside and event catering company that provides a bespoke service to suit you. Bespoke Catering TW are part of a collaboration “Bramble Weddings”, a one stop shop of local artisan businesses for all your wedding and event requirements.

Fine Grind

www.finegrindtunbridgewells.co.uk | Facebook | Twitter

Fine Grind — the latte artists & coffee professionals of Tunbridge Wells — will keep you fully caffeinated throughout the festival with the best coffee available outside of London!

We will be serving a choice of the world’s best single origin coffee on the market, with our signature flat whites and espresso based drinks as the main offering. We will be pulling some great tasting coffee through to the late evening. We will also be playing with some new special drinks & tasty treats to go perfectly with your coffee.

We only serve single origin coffee. This means the coffee are always from one farm in one area, one source and as pure as it gets. The favour you taste has not been messed with in any way and is a true representation of the character of the coffee from that source / soil & process. The coffee is then given to our friends at Horsham coffee roaster who use cutting edge roasting methods to bring out all the potential flavour and finally, we get to work our barista skills and pull the best espresso based drinks about.

The Ragged Trousers

The Ragged is a friendly pub situated in the Pantiles, the historic heart of Tunbridge Wells.

By day we offer excellent brasserie style food in a casual dining environment.

By night we are a thriving pub offering the best of Kent and Sussex ale, and an extensive list of lagers, craft beers, wines and spirits.

Ale comes from what we believe to be the best of local breweries; ale from the Longman, Darkstar, Ramsgate and Larkins breweries are usually found on our three hand pumps. Bottles of craft beer from anywhere between London and Australia are always in the fridge.

While our wine and spirits list offers the best of small boutique vineyards and distillers.

Sankey’s

www.sankeys.co.uk | Facebook | Twitter

At Sankey’s we pride ourselves on the quality of our produce, be it our incredible range of Oysters, our fresh crabs & lobsters, our handmade burger buns or our unrivalled range of hand crafted beers.

That’s what’s special about us, we are a family run business that employs real people, our team cares about what they do and we really think that matters.

We have a simple rule here at Sankey’s and that is we do not buy any seafood that comes from a source that cannot prove its produce comes from a sustainable source, and we do check!

However, even this isn’t enough. We have become obsessed with ensuring that our seas & oceans remain the best source of food and to do that we must treat it with care. We are of the belief that this can only start “on the front line”, in our restaurants and on our high streets. So to do our bit we set up the “Buy One, Set One Free” campaign with our friends at The National Lobster Hatchery.
